August 24, 2010 - SITV welcome the first vessel
On 24 August, SITV officially commenced commercial operation by receiving its first vessel, MOL Paramount, running on the ALL Water East Coast 4 (AWE4). AWE4 is a weekly service jointly operated by CKYH Alliance in cooperation with MOL. MOL Paramount is one of nine vessels, ranging from 5,600 to 6,500 TEU, deployed on this service with a rotation of Viet Nam, Hong Kong, Yantian, Singapore, via Suez Canal, Halifax, New York, Norfork, Jacksonville, Savannah and Singapore.

Second Batch of Equipment Delivery
The 2nd batch of equipments was delivered to SITV on 23rd January 2010, which included 2 quay cranes and 1 mobile harbor crane. All the equipments will be ready for the operation of SITV early March 2010.

First Batch of Equipment Delivery
On 2 January, SITV took delivery of one quay crane, nine rubber-tyred gantry cranes and other mobile equipments. They will be fully operational by early February 2010. SITV is planning to start its operation in early March 2010 to meet the needs of economic development in southern Vietnam where high priority has been given to developing international deep-water ports located on the South-East coast about 75km away from Ho Chi Minh City.

Ground Breaking Ceremony
SITV was granted an Investment Certificate on 8 February 2007 and celebrated the start of its long-term investment in Vietnam and its presence in the local port industry by breaking ground on 9 August 2007.
